Human readiness is the cognitive clarity, psychological resilience, and collective cohesion that determines whether a person, a team, or an institution rises to a challenge or ineffectively responds and recovers.

Procedures matter. Platforms have their place. But genuine human readiness cannot be built through either alone. It results from a rigorous understanding of how people think, how they might be influenced, how organisations learn and adapt, and how individuals and systems interact. This is why serious games, wargames, simulation games - in conjuction with operational research and human-system integration - are not supplementary methods. They are among the most powerful instruments available for developing the cognitive depth and adaptive capacity that readiness demands.

Her work - spanning security, defence, civil protection, public health, emergency management and diplomacy - is grounded in over fifteen years of research and consulting.
